10th Internship/Student Job Connection Fair
Keeping a Workforce Here on Long Island

On January 10, 2007 the Long Island Works Coalition will hold its 10th Internship/Student Job Connection Fair at the Huntington Hilton. Last year, the LI Works Internship/Student Job Fair connected over 100 diverse companies with 1,500 of Long Island’s best and brightest high school, college and graduate students. 

This unique event was a wonderful opportunity for LI businesses to reach out to their future workforce and for our students to learn about the diversity and opportunities available to them on Long Island.

Many students chose to take advantage of the free informational seminars  on how to land an internship.

One -to-one resume reviews and interviewing skills will be ongoing provided by business professionals.  If you are a business interested in attending, e-mail info@liworks.org or call 631-843-4010 for a participation form.  The cost is $250/table and $100 for non-profits. Sponsorship opportunities are available. The RSVP deadline is December 16.
